# source_v Open Source FPV Drone Frame project initiated by Team BlackSheep [<img src="https://github.com/ps915/source_v/raw/master/photos/source_v_small.png" width="800">](https://github.com/ps915/source_v/raw/master/photos/source_v.png) # About SOURCE V ## The Idea The SOURCE V is a continuation of the SOURCE frame line initiated by Team BlackSheep. It strives to perfect the vertical, ultra-stiff and low drag racing frame for drone racers. The frame is donated to the community to empower creators and makers, and integrate best practices and current trends faster into a continuously manufactured product. In return, it allows the local distribution network to have cheap and direct access to a good frame to compete in an increasingly competitive marketplace. ## Frame Specifications * Wheelbase: 218mm * Top Plate: 2mm thick * Bottom Plate: 2mm thick * Standoff height: M3x30mm * Arm thickness: 12mm on both sides * Stack Mounting: 30.5 × 30.5mm & 20 x 20 * Weight: 63g ## Hardware * 4x Standoffs M3x30mm * 24x M3x14mm screws ## This Thingiverse I converted all needed files to the .stl format, so that you can create your own 3D printed version of the frame. So I added or changed the files accordingly.
