First of all, thanks to w4ters for creating the original design. I'm currently integrating GPS into my Source One build, so I can experiment before building a larger craft. I prefer having the antenna on the back, making w4ters' design perfect except for the T antenna holder. I know it's not ideal for 900Mhz, but for my 5" setup, it'll provide plenty of reception. I've tested the fit with a R9 T Antenna, and I'm sure an Immortal T would also work fine. As long as the diameter is no more than 8mm, you'll be good to go. I printed this using 3D Solutech See Through Blue Flexible TPE, and it turned out great. This filament is affordable and robust! The antenna will sit a bit lower than the bottom plate - about 5 mm lower. This shouldn't be an issue, but I thought you should know. <b>Make sure to read the post-printing instructions below.</b> This design might fit other frames as well. The mounting is for 30mm width, 30mm height, and uses 5mm stand-offs. WARNING: I haven't installed this yet, which is why it's in work-in-progress mode. I know it'll fit because others have used w4ters' design. All I did was add the T antenna mount. Once I get my GPS units and find some time to disassemble my Source One, I'll add new pictures with it mounted. The printed weight is 7.36 grams. You might be able to reduce the weight slightly by printing at 20% infill. Given this filament's strength, it should be strong enough. Try doing that and see if you can get a lower weight. If you do, let me know how much your print weighs. See the print settings and post-printing instructions for additional details.
