Soup Can Planter
thingiverse
This is to repurpose Progresso sized soup cans as planters. The base elevates the roots above the water and the spout dispenses water under the base. The cans this is designed for are 85 mm in diameter and 107 mm in height. Does It Work? After five months in the soup can, my Sage plant has thrived through the winter. I removed it from the can to replant outside where it grew nicely while in the can. Roots grew into the base which made it somewhat challenging for removal. It performed as intended and will be used again in the fall. Print Settings Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 30% Notes: The Base was created to be printed with the open end facing upwards. No supports are required on the Base. The Spout was designed to be printed on its side. The Spout only needs supports in the top.
