Nick Cave (American, born 1959), Soundsuit, 2012, mixed media sculptural ensemble incorporating beaded and sequined attire, fabric, metal, and a display mannequin framework, measuring 109 ¾ x 24 x 12 inches. Nick Cave's creation is exhibited courtesy of the artist and Jack Shainman Gallery in New York. The Telfair Museum of Art acquired this piece with funds contributed by numerous donors, including Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Levy, Susan Willetts, Alan K. Pritz, Cathy and Philip Solomons, Diane and Ed Schmults, Pamela L. and Peter S. Voss, Jan and Lawrence Dorman, supporters of African American Arts, Dr. William Goldiner, Dr. David M.
