The term "soundscape" accurately portrays how the ambiance of a space changes in response to the sounds surrounding it. Four simultaneous sound recordings were captured at different locations within a selected courtyard, and the amplitudes from each zone were extracted from these files to create a landscape of sound that was subsequently transformed into a cave-like structure. The parts of this structure that are constricted, spiky, and uncomfortable indicate the loud and noisy areas of the courtyard, whereas the open, expansive, and softer sections of the structure illustrate the quiet and peaceful zones of the courtyard.
