This design produces a transducer mount suitable for classroom use, adapted from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3279969 by adding a mount for an Adafruit VL6180X Time of Flight distance sensor. The VL6180x measures the distance between plates, and pairing it with a Feather M0 and OLED display creates a digital display showing this distance. Code and wiring instructions are found at https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-vl6180x-time-of-flight-micro-lidar-distance-sensor-breakout/overview. The mount used is located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3351049. Following the same instructions as in Asier Marzo's MiniLev instructable, http://www.instructables.com/id/Acoustic-Levitator/, holes are sized for 1/4 - 20 screws and require two 8020 T-nuts and screws. A transducer removal tool is a plug that allows the transducer to be pushed back out of the mount. The companion electronics platform can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3183438, while the original bracket is located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3168253 and the parabolic dish version at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3279964.
