In my article http://tronxy.wikia.com/wiki/Tips_for_the_TronXY_P802MA_and_in_general, I suggested a simple yet effective way to reduce printer noise in the second tip. By using sound-dampening silicone washers, you can significantly decrease the noise level of your TronXY P802MA. The design above cleverly distributes the load of the tiny M3 bolt head across the full area of the washer, making it last longer and reducing sound even further. For maximum effectiveness, consider adding two additional washers to the Y-axis pulley mount. I found that short bushes were a great addition in this case, as they ensured the screws remained secure. After implementing these changes, I estimated that the noise reduction was approximately 75% compared to my previous setup. However, I wanted to take it a step further and remove the rear support of the Y-axis motor on my TronXY P802MA. While removing the rear support might lead to banding issues, I prioritized sound reduction in this instance. Update: I've created a design for the rear support that incorporates two acoustic washers - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2428376. As a result of these modifications, I was able to print at 120mm/s with significantly less noise. In fact, the noise level was comparable to printing at 30mm/s without any sound-dampening measures in place. To achieve this, I designed the washers to be 6mm high, which worked perfectly given my limited M3 bolt length of 20mm. The ideal size for these washers would have been 14mm, but the TronXY P802MA comes equipped with extra M3 x 20 bolts that proved to be a convenient substitute. Update: Don't forget to print two smooth rod spacers to account for the thickness of the sound-dampening washers. Simply place them at the top or bottom of the smooth rods, and you'll be enjoying a quieter printing experience in no time.
