Sound Absorbing Cone (Cone of Silence)

A brand new plasma cutter has been acquired, and surprisingly, it produces a lot of noise. To combat this issue, a cone design using geometry principles was implemented to absorb and disperse high-frequency sound waves. While patenting small ideas isn't my style, this solution proved effective. I want to share this knowledge with others who have plasma cutters, hoping they can benefit from the design. It should be noted that this alone did not create a OSHA hearing protection level (below 85 dB) in the immediate vicinity of the cutter, but it did significantly reduce noise levels at around 15 feet away. Stay tuned for a second part to this story.
