Simple desk model of a sit-on-top fishing kayak that stands just 8 inches long. The design has been refined to be close to printing ready after some revisions were made. One adjustment was removing the milk crate from the previous version because it couldn't be represented as solid in the file. There's a separate milk crate on Thingiverse that should work perfectly, created by Moko, which can be scaled up for use with this model. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:164027 I'm new to both 3D modeling and printing and still figuring everything out. UPDATE: The repaired file containing the milk crate is now uploaded and Netfabb indicates that it will print well. An earlier attempt without the crate resulted in some gaps on the deck, so further tests with different settings are planned, along with photos of the final product. UPDATE: After a couple adjustments were made to the original model, I printed this latest version successfully, this time excluding the milk crate and instead focusing on other aspects like the bow and seat. Printing with light supports for those features worked smoothly and removing them afterwards was also easy. This may likely be the definitive version now that's been tested thoroughly.
