As I rummaged through my house, searching for items that sparked my artistic interest, I tripped upon an unfortunate plastic figure, bringing it momentarily out of the closet to face a blank canvas waiting for life. That was the instant spark, prompting me to create a piece from its image, infusing the piece with all the emotions attached to its imperfect, forgotten status.
