Sopwith Pup - First World War Airplane
sketchfab
A pioneering plane designed by a U.K visionary, Thomas Sopwith's first solo fighter, the Sopwith Pup, is showcased at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. This exact replica, crafted by George Neal of Toronto, took over seven years to manufacture and complete. On September 2, 1967, Neal successfully flew the aircraft for the very first time, which went on to make a lasting impression at several air shows and fly-ins before being purchased by the Museum in 1973.
