Please see https://sopwithcamel3dmodel.wordpress.com/ for full printing and assembly instructions. A smaller, newer version is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3951370. This 1/7 scale model has a smaller companion in a 1/10 scale model. The instructions are still a work in progress, but the model itself is complete and ready for printing and assembly from the files folder. The original one-manifold model was thoroughly reworked (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:898956) - only the fuselage remains unchanged. The landing gear, wings, and struts were all redesigned as part of the process. Snoopy models have been integrated into the cabin, but they may need to be scaled down slightly for a proper fit. You can choose to go pilot-less or select a different pilot; nobody will mind if you opt for Darth Vader flying your camel instead. Before starting the printing process, note that this is an ambitious project requiring significant filament and time commitments. However, the end result is well worth it - take care to select the correct parts as some components offer multiple solutions. My current model, fully assembled without electronics, weighs 1300g, which is less than anticipated but more than hoped for. I may make adjustments, but many STL files can be printed with reduced bottom layers, resulting in a lighter final product. You'll need to decide what's most important - weight or print settings. If the finished model weighs up to 1600g with electronics and battery, it will require an engine capable of providing sufficient thrust for its weight.
