Sopranino recorder, cylindrical bore
thingiverse
The sopranino recorder features standard (English) recorder fingering and boasts a straight bore. Unlike recorders from the baroque era onwards, it produces a breathy, piercing sound. It's designed for ABS printing, which is then welded together using acetone. Choose your piece configuration based on your printer's maximum height and stability. The 5-piece version is recommended. Print with 100% infill due to the tall pieces' tendency to loosen during printing. Using blue masking tape as a base material has reduced this issue. To join pieces, dip them in acetone for 20 seconds before pressing firmly together; safety precautions are advised. The design is open-source, created using Demakein software.
