The Printbot Evolution is a robot from BQ whose chassis can be printed with a 3D printer. One of its main functions is to follow lines. The robot has a double infrared sensor that allows it to know when it is inside or outside a black line. In this way, the printbot can correct its trajectory at any time to follow the black line. These two parts are supports for additional infrared sensors that improve the following function. By equipping the Evolution with two new infrared sensors, we can make the robot detect line intersections. In this way, through programming, we can make the robot change course every time it reaches a crossroads. The supports are designed to mount an Octopus Line Follower Block sensor model as seen in the next image.
