Soporte ventilador BFB0712H para Prusa i3 Pro B
thingiverse
My first creation is a support to place a BFB0712H fan in the Prusa i3 Pro B extruder, taking advantage of the space between the motor fan, the motor, and the aluminum bracket. The design is a layer cooler with a small nozzle to cool the tube before the heater. The main opening measures 41mm long by 3mm high, providing sufficient airflow to cool the area being worked on. As can be seen in the photos, the main opening is about 3 mm high above the nozzle tip. Assembly is very simple: remove the entire head, separating the motor, heat sink, and fan, then remove the aluminum block held by two screws below the aluminum bracket. Insert the design so that the space is exactly where the aluminum block goes, place the block, and screw it in. Reassemble everything and finally place the BFB0712H fan. With a small nozzle to cool the filament tube, you can dispense with the heat sink fan.
