As you can see from the previous design, I made a piece for a partner's flexo lamp bracket that had broken off, but I made it stronger by making it different from the original. Since the color of the original pieces was black and I made them green, I decided to change the color to black. I also received black PETG filament from cartu.es and thought it would be great to try this filament out again. Since I had already made the reinforced piece, I decided to make the whole support. So, I designed the same pieces as the original in Freecad. Apart from the parts, I made a screw with 8mm threaded bar. To get it right, the small part of the angle should be around 25 mm so that the adjustment to the table is perfect. As you can see in the images, I embedded the nut in the tightening part carefully and perfectly with a welder. It's not necessary, but since the hole comes out just right, I decided to embed it instead of filing it down. You can redesign it if you want to add a little more radius to the hexagon. The centerpiece has a tube embedded, which is a piece of copper pipe from an old water heater gas installation. I also embedded it in the device. It took some work, but with a bit of skill, it looks perfect. This device is meant for putting a flexo lamp, but I decided to make one that can hold a GoPro-type camera or any other device by adding a 12mm diameter cylinder to the hole that leads to the lamp. Later on, I'll adapt some supports like this. Note: The greens are PLA and the blacks are PETG.
