I placed the roller support on the side of my Ender 3 a while back, but with the new carriage design it was obstructing the Z-axis lift. I decided to make a support with a 45° inclination, gaining about 11 cm of height at the center of the roller. The foot is secured with M5 screws and nuts, a 10 mm threaded length, and the support is attached to the frame with M5 screws. The holes are 4.2 mm in diameter to accommodate an M5 screw with a 0.8 mm thread pitch.
