It's essentially a platform for installing the Ethernet duet2 board. Neither the USB port nor the MicroSD card slot are easily accessible, but there is access to the ethernet cable itself. The design includes supports to prevent it from tilting, making it safe to apply force on the plate when connecting or disconnecting the Ethernet duet2 board.
