I carefully dismantle the cracked piece from my shower. This part is made entirely out of lightweight polystyrene plastic, but its poorly designed shape makes it completely unreliable for any standard usage. I now get down to business, disassembling this part piece by piece. Then I recreate an improved version using strong PLA plastic that's capable of holding up under the normal pressures involved in daily use.
