I've been using the same supports for my closet bar for many years and it's amazing how well they've held up despite always being cluttered with clothes and having only two screws holding them in place. To make sure they last another twenty years or more, I designed a new set of supports that uses four screws instead of just two. I'm pretty confident this will do the trick - I think I might have even overdone it a bit! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the new supports because I'd already installed them by the time I remembered to document the project.
