VERTICAL Print: I print at 50% speed for the first 0.3mm layer and 20% speed for the remaining 0.1mm layers. I slow down to 10% on the tongue. The tongue will not print straight, but it helps to place it on a flat surface right after printing until cooled. My printer creates a body bulge, but it requires less work on the ends. HORIZONTAL Print: I printed at 50% speed with 0.1mm layers. I reduced speed to 10% at the latch around 1.5mm. I cleaned the latch with a #56 index bit and knife. I used a file and sandpaper for the rest of the body. It requires more work on the ends, but it provides a nice finish. GENERAL INFO: The ends need to be formed by hand. Use the attached diagram for sizes. The battery needs to fit between the latch and tongue. A trial fit without the battery will indicate good fit up. If the door won't close with the battery installed, it will need more battery clearance. I recommend printing one while the original door is available so it can be used as a guide. It requires a lot of TLC cleaning and fit-up.
