It's the top-notch quality low-poly 3D model that Sony VAIO TAP 11 Ultrabook utilizes in various industries such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc.. This precise modeling was achieved by combining ortho-photos of real notebook, resulting in all design details being accurately recreated. One major advantage of using this model is its simplicity and ease of use - it's comprised of just three meshes, making it low-poly (which conserves system resources) and requiring only one material. This versatility allows it to work seamlessly with any renderer you choose, consistently producing realistic results thanks to its high resolution photo-textures. By carefully planning the topology of this model and complementing it with detailed textures, it's possible to achieve maximum quality using a minimal amount of polygons - perfect even for close-up shots. The single material assigned to the model features a photo-texture applied for diffusion. To add an extra layer of realism, advanced texture options like Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission are utilized for elements that emit light, such as screens or indicators. To ensure optimal Bump depth in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya, a Bump Multiplier is set to 0.2. Five primary textures are included - each with a square resolution of 3000 pixels and saved in .jpg format. The original texture file is also provided in PSD format within the archive. Opening and closing animations can be easily achieved through simple rotation or translation of the display group, or by animating the display leg support via a simple rotation of the leg mesh. This model was created using Maya 2009 and features accurate dimensions on a real-world scale in centimeters. All parts are correctly grouped and named for easy reference. Additionally, an optimized render-scene is included - saved as a Maya 2014 file with the V-Ray 2.40 renderer plugin. This scene can also be opened in earlier versions of Maya (up to 2012) with V-Ray 2.0 using .ma format. The scene features five V-Ray Rect Light reflectors, along with V-Ray MTL material assigned to the model. Keys for model and Render Camera positions are set on the Timeline with Preview Images available. If you choose not to utilize these positions, remember to remove animation keys from translation and rotation channels. For compatibility in other 3D programs, scenes are also saved in formats such as .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version). Note that this is a Low-Poly model designed specifically for performance - do not apply any smoothing modifiers.
