There are two straightforward solutions to this challenge of attaching anything other than a camera to a Sony tripod: duplicate the shoe or duplicate the camera base. In my situation, I have successfully replicated the camera base. This clever design modification enables the use of various tripods that feature the same screw found in SLR cameras. To accomplish this, you will need a nut that fits snugly onto the shoe bolt, which can then be pressed into the adapter. Subsequently, apply adhesive to secure the adapter firmly to the object intended for mounting.
