This fits over the 50hz pulley to convert a Sony TC-666D designed for use with 50hz power grids for use with 60hz power grids found in the United States. Position it facing the 50hz pulley. I suggest Nylon as an ideal material, however, ensure you print with a tight tolerance as possible since the diameter directly affects the tape's speed. If you complete the conversion process and still experience speed issues, it is probably due to aging motor capacitors. !!! Note that this adjustment only corrects the size of the pulley, there is a wire in the back of the unit you need to remove (on the motor capacitor) that is easily accessible to complete the change. !!!
