Sony SRS-X99 Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
It's a high-quality low-poly 3D model that Sony SRS-X99 uses in various fields such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc... Modeling was made by taking ortho-photos of a real speaker, so all details of the design are recreated very authentically. Ease of use is that the model consists of three meshes, it's low-polygonal (which saves system resources) and has only one material. Whichever renderer you might choose, this model will always look realistic due to high-resolution photo-textures. The carefully thought-out topology low-poly model combined with detailed textures allows for a minimal amount of polygons to get maximum quality, which is enough even for close-ups. For advanced realism, these textures are used in addition: Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission for luminous elements of the model (for example, screens, indicators, etc.). For best Bump depth we set Bump Multiplier at 0.1 to 0.2 in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. The Specular and Glossiness maps show various reflective and dispersing capacities of different areas of the model that gives an effect of using more materials. There are five main textures in total. Resolution of all textures is 4096 pixels square resolution in .png format. There's also a PSD file with original texture included in this archive. Closing/opening of the antenna is animated by simple rotation and translation relevant group and mesh. This model was created in 'Maya 2009' 3D program. The model has correct dimensions in real-world scale in centimeters. All parts are correctly grouped and named. There's also an adjusted render-scene created in the Maya 2014 with V-Ray 2.40 renderer plug-in. This scene opens correctly in earlier versions up to the Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0 because it is saved in the .ma format. Render-scene includes six V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors. The V-Ray MTL material is assigned to this model. On Timeline, there are keys of the model and render camera position relevant Preview Images set. If you don't need these positions, be sure to delete animation keys from translation and rotation channels. To use the model in other 3D programs, there are scenes saved in formats: .fbx, .obj, .DAE, .max (2010 version). This is a Low-Poly model and it's not designed for any use of smoothing modifiers.
