Sony Smartwatch 3 - Magnetic Dock

This is a magnetic dock designed specifically for the Sony Smartwatch 3, inspired by a video showcasing its functionality. I utilized images of the original Spigen holder from Google and recreated the side profile in Solidworks using Sketch Picture. The design was then modified to accommodate the Sony Smartwatch instead of the Apple Watch it was originally intended for. A notch was added to the side to prepare it for the cable. Although my magnetic cable is still en route, I'm confident that it will work seamlessly with this dock. To set up charging, simply attach the cable to the holder and feed it into the cable guide located at the back of the dock. Next, insert the microUSB magnetic connector into the back of the watch and place the watch on the holder. This setup enables effortless charging without the need to remove the magnetic connector from the watch during normal wear. For optimal results, I recommend removing the rubber bung and storing it in a safe location – it's easy to reinstall when needed. The mock-up photos demonstrate the use of a standard microUSB cable. A higher resolution will yield a smoother surface finish on the tapered sections. Enjoy using this magnetic dock for your Sony Smartwatch 3.
