Sony SLT-A58 Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
It's a high-quality, low-poly 3D model of Sony's SLT-A58 used across various fields including game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, and visualization. The model is created using ortho-photos from a real digital camera, resulting in extremely accurate recreation of the design. The ease of use comes with the fact that this model consists of just a few meshes, making it low-polygonal and resource-friendly. It has only one material, which further simplifies its handling. Regardless of the renderer used, this model looks realistic thanks to high-resolution photo-textures. A thoughtfully designed topology, combined with detailed textures, allows for a minimal amount of polygons while achieving maximum quality - suitable even for close-ups. For enhanced realism, additional features are used, including Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission textures for the model's luminous elements (like screens, indicators). For optimal Bump depth, set the Bump Multiplier to 0.1-0.2 in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. The Specular and Glossiness maps control various reflective and dispersing capacities across different areas of the model, giving it the effect of using more materials than are actually present. A total of five main textures are used, all at 4096 pixels per square in .jpg format. Additionally, there's a set of original texture files in .PSD format available within the archive. Display opening and closing animations are handled by a simple rotation of the display mesh along with its group. This model was created using 'Maya 2009' software and has real-world dimensions measured in centimeters. All parts are correctly grouped and named. An adjusted render-scene, created with Maya 2014 using the V-Ray 2.40 renderer plug-in, is included. It can be opened within earlier versions up to Maya 2012 using V-Ray 2.0 because it's saved in the .ma format. This scene includes five V-Ray Rect Light sources and reflectors. A V-Ray MTL material is assigned to the model. Timeline keys of the model and render camera positions for preview images are set. Users who want to work with the model in other software can access scenes in .fbx, .obj, .DAE, or .max (2010 version) formats. Note that this is a Low-Poly model and it should not be used with any smoothing modifiers.
