Sony RX100 trigger block
thingiverse
You can easily block the trigger of your RX100 M1 and M2 cameras with a small, print-on-demand device. The good news is that you won't need to spend much time creating this device - it can be printed in just 20 minutes. As basic as the design may seem, it does require some adjustments to work flawlessly. Currently, the tripod mount is located too close to the device itself, which limits its functionality. To improve this feature, a bit more tweaking will be needed. I used Sketchup 8 to create the device and prepared the file for printing using Cura software. Once I printed it on my Ultimaker 2, the result was clear - a simple yet functional device that helps to control your camera trigger. I got inspiration for this idea from ledelfotoblog's clever solution posted in January of 2013 on their blog at http://lederfotoblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/sony-rx100-timelapse-solution.html
