I own the first SONY RX100. However, the first RX100 does not seem to have a remote release, so 3D printing time lapse is not possible. So I made my own mechanical remote release with a 3D printer for the time lapse of 3D printing. By using materials related to 3D printers other than parts to be printed in 3D, we have decided not to purchase new parts. The pipe that connects the camera and the 3D printer is a PTFE tube with an inner diameter of 2 mm. The part that pushes the button is the ABS filament.
