I replaced my remote's worn-out battery cover with a 3D-printed one designed specifically for my Sony BDP-S3200 Blue-Ray/DVD player. I suspect this custom cover will work just as well for other similar models. Printed at a resolution of .2 mm, without any infill, and with supports in place, the new battery cover was a success in PLA filament. My trusty Prusa I3mk2s 3D printer did the job nicely.
