Sony PS-2700 Turntable thrust bearing

I couldn't find much information on the Sony PS-2700 turntable thrust bearing. Here are some helpful forum links I found online: https://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/viewtopic.php?t=108040 https://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/viewtopic.php?t=24989 I'd guess many record turntables use this type of system. To adjust the bearing's height, I made several shims or spacers that slide into the tube. The height should be between 3 and 4 mm above the snap ring at the bottom of the bearing. I made the shims 1 mm thick and used four stacked on top of each other. I reused a silicone rubber bung along with a 3D printed bearing cap that's friction fitted over the bottom of the bearing. This bearing should be installed after the bottom cover is put back in. Otherwise, the bottom cover's hole can be enlarged. I didn't find this necessary though. I used ABS plastic for the parts, but I think nylon material is typically used. Here's a Google search link to some commercial ones: https://www.google.com/search?q=record+turntable+thrust+bearings&sxsrf=ALeKk00XstL-fhHgxkqOzHkuwsUWFSXA:1582184561442&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi-wYPm0N_nAhWC7HMBHQkqDLAQ_AUoAXoECAsQAw Something hard wearing should be used as the sacrificial part to prolong the bearing. The spindle itself has a small tip that transfers the load to the sacrificial part. Given time, the 3D printed bearing will need to be replaced. Lubrication needs to be applied to the contact surfaces of the bearing. Lubrication with low sulfide grease is recommended to reduce corrosion on the brass parts of the bearing.
