Sony Playstation Gold Headset Hinge Fixer/Protector
thingiverse
My Son inadvertently damaged my Sony Gold Headset hinge, rendering it useless and fragile to breakage. If you're not using the hinge frequently or it's already broken, you can easily repair it with this straightforward solution. To fix it, simply print out the replacement part and snap it onto the headset's plastic band. If the original hinge is cracked, just fold it back and slide the Fixer into place at the joint; then unfold it and push the piece back to cover the hinge, effectively repairing it. In my case, I didn't need any adhesive or additional materials – friction alone held the part in place. Plus, I can still fold the headset for travel purposes by slicing the replacement part to allow for easy folding. The available designs include V01, which is specifically designed for broken hinges, and V02, a more general-purpose solution that holds the hinges in place from the edges, providing a slightly larger gap.
