Sony MDR-XD100 Headphone Bracket
thingiverse
I created this bracket specifically for my Sony MDR-XD100 headphones after one of the original brackets broke in two. Determined to find a solution, I decided to design a replacement from scratch. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with print quality on the slides, but I'm pretty sure it was due to deflection during printing. To achieve optimal results, I recommend adding some supports, although I've successfully printed it in PLA without any aids. Due to the large overhang angles and long bridge at the top, you'll need good build plate adhesion and adequate print cooling to print without supports. Although my print quality near the top was a bit subpar, it didn't affect the fit or function of the bracket in any way, so printing without supports should work just fine. For reference, I'm running 200C extruder temp and 60C bed on a laminated PEI on glass build platform using my trusty MP Select Mini.
