Sony MDR-V6 Headphones Bracket Replacement (Parametric)
thingiverse
This is both parts of the side bracket for the Sony MDR-V6 headphones, which are likely compatible with other models in the MDR-V line. I lost mine and realized that this bracket was one of the only replacement parts you could not buy. It's parametrized, so if you find the tolerances or exact size doesn't fit your specific headphones, just change the parameters a bit in the OpenSCAD file and make sure the two pieces still fit together. OpenSCAD is a free and lightweight software that makes it easy to change the file if needed. You can also choose to have the printer print the curved edge or a hard edge for the headphone bracket2.scad file, but you will need to sand down the hard edge after printing in order for the headphones to still fold. If you don't need to make any changes, just use the two .stl files, your own replacement screw, and you're ready to go! If you only lost one side of your headphone, consider using half of each bracket on each side to help with threading. Otherwise, you may need a threader. Enjoy making your replacement parts!
