Sony MDR-CD3000 Yoke Assy.
thingiverse
This is a Revamped CAD model for the Yolk Assembly, which when combined with other periodic uploads will complete the Construction of a Complete Headband Assembly, The CD3000 Model being Discontinued, I thought I would release these CAD models into the Public Domain for Free, potentially Benefiting those who could Service or Repair their Equipment. The Design was created by my Colleague - Mr. Sachin Shedge, so all Design Credit goes to him, he is not active on the Internet, especially Forums, so it's my Responsibility to give Relevant Credit. Regarding the Model, I recommend increasing the Scale by 0.1-0.2X depending on whether you want it to Encompass the Interior Assembly but keep in mind this may Affect the Articulation since the Side Tab Diameter Increase could hinder Entry into the Earcup. This should not be used to Service the Sony MDR-R10 as the Yolk Assemblies are Altered, although they could be used if you really want to, I wouldn't use it though. The Imperfection below the "I" is not Noticeable when Printed but I will Update and add a link to the Corrected Model once Fixed. Update 1 - This Update relates to the Scale, I found that simply increasing the Height from 85mm to 90mm solved the Fit Issue, which is good if you don't want to Mess with the Scale which has Negative Implications on other things. I suggest just increasing the Height or Depth depending on how you place the Model in the Slicer from 85mm to 90mm and then you should have a Perfect Fit. Update 2 - The new File added as of January 19, 2016 makes the "I" slightly Thicker, which addressed issues related to Snapping so I made the Thickness half that of the Body which will be uploaded soon. This thicker "I" greatly Enhances Structural Integrity but Negatively affects Articulation Play, Mathematically it should be 50% less which is Enough but I would have liked it to be Higher. If you are CNCing or using Carbon Fibre PLA, I suggest you experiment with the Original File and test for yourself. Update 3 - The newest and final File has been added as of January 20-1-16, this fixes the Lines that were previously there.
