The Sony MDR-100AAP 3D model is a high-quality low-poly representation used across various fields including game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, and more. The model comes in five colors: Black, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Red. The ease of use is facilitated by the model's composition of a few meshes, its low polygon count (saving system resources), and single material usage. A well-thought-out topology paired with detailed textures allows for a minimal number of polygons to achieve maximum quality, suitable even for close-ups. Advanced realism is further enhanced using textures: Specular, Glossiness, and Bump. For correct rendering using V-Ray, set "BRDF Type" as "Phong", "Use Fresnel", and adjust "Fresnel IOR" to 5 and "Bump Multiplier" to 0.1-0.2. The use of Specular and Glossiness maps offers reflective and dispersing capabilities, simulating the effect of multiple materials. Main textures total four, with all at 4096 pixels in .png format, also including a PSD original texture file per archive. Additional textures add eight, varying diffuse and specular colors. Model animations can be achieved by rotating relevant groups and meshes to get different positions. The scene is set for headphones folding animation. The model presents two poses: default pose and human head use. It was created using Maya 2009. Correct real-world scale dimensions in centimeters ensure all parts are grouped and named correctly. A render-scene created with V-Ray 2.40, adjusted to open in earlier versions of Maya up to 2012, is included with the model. This scene consists of 6 Rect Light + reflectors, with V-Ray MTL material assigned and keys set on the timeline for relevant Preview Images. An additional rendered model in HDRI lighting demonstrates more visual realism, but this scene is not included in sale. For compatibility across other 3D programs, scenes are saved in .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max(2010 version) formats. This model is low-poly and unsuitable for use with smoothing modifiers.
