Sony hotshoe foot replacement for Nikon Dot Sight DF-M1
thingiverse
This is a direct replacement foot intended to adapt a Nikon DF-M1 Dot Sight for use on Sony Alpha series camera hot shoes. DF-M1 came with generic universal hot shoe foot that was meant to fit all cameras but sits loosely in a Sony hot shoe with a lot of rotational play. That obviously makes the Dot Sight practically useless. One can always add a Sony to generic hots hoe adapter and that might be the necessary route for those with lenses of bigger girth. This adapter is tested on my biggest lens which is a Sony 200-600. Your mileage with bigger lens is not guaranteed. Installation is simple. Unscrew the original 4 Philips, pop out the original foot. Line up the pegs and snap in the replacement. Replace the original 4 screws, viola. Print showed here was printed by Zelta 3D Singapore using Nylon SLS.
