An accessory for SONY HDR-AZ1VR designed to utilize the GoPro mount system securely. The attachment is fixed to AZ1VR using a 10mm M4 screw, preventing obstruction of buttons, indicators, connectors, battery cover, and microphone/speaker. New features in version two include: - A protective covering for the USB port, already tested in rain conditions. - Lens protection - Lens cap Four neodymium magnets are glued to secure the rain cover. Two design models were created: one for 6mm x 2.4mm magnets (readily available in Japan) and another for 1/4 inch x 1/16 inch magnets (commonly used in the US). However, testing of the latter has not been conducted; if it does not fit properly, users are advised to modify the model accordingly. It is recommended that the rain cover be coated with a layer of lacquer for added protection. Printing was accomplished using an AFINIA H480 3D printer. ABS filament was utilized. Design and modeling were handled through Autodesk 123D Design software, while slicing was performed with UP! V2.13 settings at default levels.
