Sony HDR-AS15 camera tripod mount
thingiverse
The improved version of the Sony HDRAS15 Tripod Case features numerous enhancements designed by ViniG, transforming it into a sturdier and more functional camera case. Among the changes is a reinforced bottom that reprises the curve for added stability. To increase access, mic and USB ports have been added through small windows on the cover of the case. A redesigned open side face has also been created with smaller beveled openings to minimize warping due to sunlight exposure. A major improvement comes in the form of a raised rim at the front wall that reduces wear on the camera lens during insertion or removal by enabling users to easily slide their fingertips along without making contact. The case's height was increased by 1mm for improved clearance. Originally, the fit was tight and would often cause unnecessary strain on the camera housing, leading to potential wear on its exterior. Enhanced protection is soon to be introduced in the form of a snap-on windscreen and lens protector that perfectly complement the modified design of the Tripod Case.
