This accessory works in conjunction with my hot shoe cover and provides an additional feature - holding back the flash on the Sony a6000. When the flash is directed upwards towards the ceiling, it bounces back down onto the subject, creating a softened effect that can be observed in the test photos. To secure it properly, you need to wedge it into place, but once fitted, it remains firmly attached and won't come loose. It's also possible to position this accessory on the camera with the flash discreetly tucked away.
