Action Camera Helmet Side Holder I designed this holder to be connected directly onto a helmet using 3M VHB tape or a zip tie. However, zip ties require making holes into the helmet, which is not recommended because any modification of your helmet voids its warranty and negatively impacts its protection ability! The holder consists of two parts that can be folded when it's not in use. The camera is connected using a 1/4-inch stativ screw. In theory, any FDR Sony action cam can be connected, but I've personally tested only the FDR-X3000 and FDR-X1000. Note that the nice helmet model was made by Ivan Spasić and loaded from here. Therefore, I modified the screw head. The grooves on the side of the head were replaced with a smooth surface to prevent locking by ice. 8.12.2016 I created the first model of the holder.
