I own a Sony FDR-X1000V but didn't have a real container where I put it into. So I created this box which has space for the cam including the waterproof case, 2 batteries, a Samsung charger and the batteries charger.

I used this charger: https://www.amazon.de/Dual-Ladeger%C3%A4t-NP-BX1-Action-HDR-AS10-FDR-X1000V/dp/B00ZUFF47E/ref=sr_1_19

In addition, you need two neodym magnets, sized around 1 cm in diameter and 4mm height (the standard ones you can get) to be able to close the box.

For the hinges I just put some filament into the holes. I fixed them in place by melting both ends to the box using a heated screwdriver.

I also added felt-like stuff so that the cam and all the other stuff is better protected during transport.
Category: Containers
