I redesigned my RX100 camera case to fix a major issue - it now retracts the lens in under two seconds when shooting HDR photos. To do this, I attached a customized holster that can securely hold the RX100 with its lens extended. To create this holster, I started by sewing together a 25mm wide piece of durable belt material, precisely cut to 5mm thickness for optimal flexibility. Next, I carefully sewed or pasted velcro tape onto both sides of the holster and the RX100 itself. This simple modification allows me to quickly change modes between photography and videography, giving me unparalleled creative freedom with my beloved RX100 camera.
