Sony CLM-V55 Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
It's a high-quality low-poly 3D model Sony CLM-V55 used in various fields such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc.. The model was made from ortho-photos of a real monitor, ensuring all details of its design are recreated with authenticity. One of the easiest aspects of this model is that it consists of just a few meshes, making it low-polygonal and saving system resources. Plus, it only uses one material, simplifying the process even further. Regardless of the renderer used, this model will always appear realistic due to its high-resolution photo-textures. The carefully thought-out topology of the low-poly model in combination with detailed textures allows for a minimum number of polygons to achieve maximum quality. Even for close-ups, this can be enough. To add advanced realism, textures are utilized including Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission for luminous elements of the model (like screens, indicators, etc.). To optimize Bump depth, a Bump Multiplier is set to 0.1-0.2 in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. The Specular and Glossiness maps are used to vary the reflective and dispersing capabilities of different areas of the model, providing the effect of using multiple materials. In total, there are five main textures. Each has a resolution of 4096 pixels per square meter in .jpg format, with the original texture files in .PSD format also included in the archive. The display's opening and closing are animated by the simple rotation of the shutter mesh. You can also animate the monitor's bend and turn by rotating relevant groups. This model was created using the Maya 2009 3D program. The correct dimensions for real-world scale are maintained, measured in centimeters. All parts are correctly grouped and named. There is an adjusted render-scene created in the Maya 2014 with V-Ray 2.40 renderer plug-in. This scene opens correctly in earlier versions up to Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0, as it's saved in .ma format. The render-scene includes six V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors and assigns the V-Ray MTL material to the model. Timeline settings feature keys for the model and Render Camera position relevant Preview Images. If you don't need these positions, remember to delete animation keys from translation and rotation channels. For use in other 3D programs, scenes are saved in formats like .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version). Note that this is a Low-Poly model, not designed for the use of any smoothing modifiers.
