This is a replacement interlocking gear used in a Sony Betamax 711B3 mechanism. The plastic gear tends to crack from age and slip on the motor shaft. The part is used in two locations - the front loading motor, and the tape loading motor. I've found the front loading motor more likely to slip. This model has an ID of 2.13mm for the motor shaft, but you may want to adjust that depending on how it prints.
