Sony AS200V Tripod mount with audio out
thingiverse
I use my camera mounted on my helmet for vlogs, and while it comes with a mic-in, I've found that you can't utilize it when paired with the included tripod adapter. This is where my solution comes in – it's similar to the original version of the tripod mount, but with a crucial difference: a cutout specifically designed for the audio jack. To make it work, follow these three steps: 1. Carefully remove the flap covering the audio jack, taking care not to damage it. 2. Transplant the fixation screw and metal plate with the screw hole from the original mount to the printed adapter. 3. Obtain an extension cord featuring a small enough audio jack to connect your microphone; I personally use this model (https://amzn.to/38bT0Is). Keep in mind that removing the flap compromises the camera's waterproof integrity.
