The original part cost 48 dollars, and it's extremely challenging to locate one. This is a lifesaver if you own one of these cameras. There are two designs: one with the thread molded into plastic and one with a hole for a nut. I've only printed the design with the thread built in, and it holds up remarkably well. For the screw that attaches to the Camera, I used an M4 * 8. To keep it secure, I purchased a 3/16 e-clip from Home Depot (see pictures). Next revision, I might add a whole for the e-clip so the camera rests completely flat on the base. UPDATE: Created version 2.0 with a hole for the e-clip or washer and also more room for the M4 screw that attaches the camera to the base. Why? I'm now going to use M4x8mm Thread Carbon Steel Knurled Round Head screws.
