Here's a new gimbal designed specifically for Hquad, featuring two axes that work together in perfect harmony. This sleek and compact system is built to be highly versatile, easily attaching to any crab legs with its quick disconnect feature. Thanks to its exceptional balance, the force exerted by the motor magnet cog keeps everything securely in place, eliminating the need for supports or overhang printing complications. The gimbal's arm is cleverly designed with a built-in cavity that stores excess length motor wire, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace. For attaching the controller, we've opted for nylon screws and hex standoffs, providing a sturdy and reliable connection. I created this design using 123D software, which proved to be an invaluable tool in bringing my vision to life. Update: August 2nd, 2016 - A quick note regarding Sony's gimbal models 3 and 4. While they may appear identical at first glance, there are actually some key differences between them that I've forgotten why. If you happen to know the details, please do share!
