This is a precise model of a floor-standing speaker, the Sonus Faber Lilium in its signature Red finish. Created with meticulous detail using 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0. Every aspect of this model is built to exact real-world scale specifications. Units are consistently measured in millimeters, guaranteeing an uncannily accurate representation. The gamma setting used throughout is a standard Gamma 2.2, and all materials and textures incorporated have been carefully rendered with the advanced V-Ray engine. Although scene setup and lights are intentionally excluded from this file, you'll notice that all previews were painstakingly crafted using both 3ds Max and V-ray. Notably, this model consists of an impressive 28 discrete objects. Upon disassembly, we can observe that the entire assembly contains 34,054 individual quads, a significant number of 10,837 triangles (tris), and mercifully zero non-planar n-gons. When rendered without the TurboSmooth effect activated, this model exhibits 44,891 polygonic faces. On the other hand, with the TurboSmooth effect applied, albeit set to a mere two iterations, we can see that this remarkably complex model is constructed from an astonishing 400,518 polygons, making it clear why such meticulous attention to detail was warranted during its creation. And for all the meticulous crafting involved, one thing becomes quite evident: no shortcuts were taken.
