This is a scale model of the central speaker from Sonus faber Chameleon C in a metallic blue finish. Created using 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0, the model features accurate real-world proportions. Measurements are specified in millimeters. Gamma values follow industry standard (gamma 2.2). Materials, textures and visual effects are generated using V-Ray technology. The lighting setup is excluded from this digital representation. This three-dimensional rendering does not include camera angles or light sources. Other formats than native 3ds Max have been exported as a base mesh and smooth surface only. Preview images were created by combining 3ds Max with the rendering capabilities of V-Ray software. A total of 26 discrete components make up this digital speaker model. Polygon breakdown reveals a substantial amount: 41374 quads, 8163 tris and no ngons are present within its framework. When smoothing is applied using TurboSmooth technology in two iterations, the polygon count jumps to 49537 and 416516, respectively. A massive array of textures contributes to this model's rich visual detail. Size specifications: a total of seven unique texture sizes make up the image dataset. They range from small at *2048 pixels (two images) through medium with dimensions of 2400x2400 pixels for one single picture and similarly 2500x2500 pixels, down to the larger at 4000x3800 pixels, further down the scale 4800x4800 and 5120x5120 each of a single image, all totalling 72048 texture units.
